As part of a new series we are highlighting BIVDA’s Sustainability Hub – a valuable free resource for BIVDA members.
The Sustainability Hub has resources and guidance around Social Value and Environmental Sustainability. With a focus on the requirements needed for members to meet the minimum requirements for public procurement tenders.
Over the coming weeks in ‘Spotlight on Sustainability’ a different topic or resource will be focused on to help members navigate the hub and see what’s available.
This week…
How is Social Value being evaluated in tenders?
PPN 06/20 – Taking account of Social Value in the award of central government contracts means Social Value is now required to be evaluated in all central government procurement and carries a minimum score of 10%.
The Sustainability Hub has a guide to the different evaluation models and links to further resources to help an organisation understand and prepare for when they need to submit a tender bid. Here is the link for Social Value Evaluation Methods.
