Prepare for changes to flexible working laws in force from 6 April

By February 14, 2024No Comments

The Department for Business and Trade (DBT) has launched resources to help prepare businesses for changes to flexible working laws that will come into force on 6 April.

From 6 April, employees will have the legal right to make a statutory flexible working request from their first day of employment to ask for changes to when, where and how long they work.

Employers will need to manage such requests reasonably and they might need to change how they manage flexible working requests in their business.

DBT have launched an informative webpage where employers can learn more about these changes and find support.
