Evidence standards framework (ESF) for digital health technologies

NICE have updated their ESF for digital health technologies. It now includes new evidence requirements for artificial intelligence and data-driven products. They’ve also aligned the classification of technologies with regulatory requirements and made it easier to use.

The framework aims to guide developers in generating high quality evidence. It also helps commissioners make informed and consistent decisions when buying digital health technologies. You can access the ESF here.

 

NHS launches Innovation Service

The NHS has launched their new Innovation Service, which aims to connect healthcare technology developers with the support they need to get their products to clinicians and patients faster. The new online service provides access to coordinated guidance from a range of organisations, including NICE, on the development and widespread adoption of health innovation.

The Accelerated Access Collaborative developed the service, in partnership with support organisations including NICE and the Academic Health Science Network.

Shape NICE’s new AI and digital technology service
