New funding opportunities from Innovate UK & the HTA Programme

23/112 NIHR NICE Rolling Call (HTA Programme)

The Health Technology Assessment (HTA) Programme is accepting Stage 1 applications to this funding opportunity. The programme is interested in receiving applications to meet recommendations in research identified in NICE guidance that has been published or updated since 2015.

Proposals must be within the remit of the HTA Programme and the primary outcome measure must be health related. This call is also open in the Efficacy and Mechanism Evaluation (EME)Health and Social Care Delivery Research (HSDR) and Public Health Research (PHR) programmes for proposals which fall within the remit of those programmes – applicants should apply directly to the relevant programme.

All primary research projects are expected to establish a programme appointed Study Steering Committee and it is important that you read the Research Governance Guidance before completing your application. Costs incurred by this committee should be included in the budget as appropriate.

 

Investor Partnerships: SME round four

UK registered businesses can apply for grant funding alongside private investment from selected investor partners.

Net zero living: user focused design

Opening date: 1 August 2023 9:30am UK time

Closing date: 4 October 2023 11:00am UK time

UK registered businesses can apply for a share of up to £3.8 million to support them in developing their net zero products or services. This funding is from Innovate UK.

This competition is open to single applicants only.

To lead a project your organisation must be a UK registered micro, small or medium-sized enterprise.

 

UK-Germany bilateral: collaborative research and development round two

Opening date: 4 September 2023 9:30am UK time

Closing date: 6 December 2023 11:00am UK time

UK registered organisations can apply for a share of up to £4 million for projects resulting in innovative solutions for emerging technologies. You must collaborate with at least one German small or medium-sized enterprise (SME) applying under the equivalent German Central Innovation Programme for SMEs (ZIM) programme.

This competition is open to UK and German collaborations only.

To lead a project your organisation must:

  • be a UK registered business
  • be or involve at least one grant claiming UK registered SME
  • collaborate with a German registered SME
