Please see a letter from David Lawson, Head of the MedTech Directorate together with an excel form to be completed urgently if you have product(s) that meet the criteria.
Don’t submit anything that is not yet available for sale as these won’t be considered, although it is possible that this might become a notification mechanism for the future for products coming to market.

I understand that these sort of urgent requests are a drain on your time and resources but there is a genuine will to adopt medtech and diagnostics more rapidly and this approach is to try to identify all products that have potential to improve healthcare and stop cherrypicking of just those that come to attention of Minister or others with influence in the NHS.
Please note the deadline is 5pm on 29 March and make sure your emails have the right subject title so they aren’t missed.
