By April 29, 2022No Comments

The Department for International Trade (DIT) is inviting expressions of interest to be considered for the 2022 international showcase of UK Life Sciences Innovators.

This year sees the launch of DIT’s UK Life Sciences Innovators 2022, an international showcase of UK exporters of innovative solutions going global, and of global innovators bringing their solutions to the UK.

This is your opportunity to be part of the UK’s Science Superpower ambition by telling your story, making connections and growing your business internationally, and representing UK Life Sciences to the world.

The first phase will launch in Spring 2022. DIT want to hear from UK businesses keen to expand internationally and would like to hear from small and medium sized companies innovating with game-changing technology, or highly innovative in the way that they approach their business and impact.

If successful, you will have the chance to:

  • Represent the UK at our key overseas events, including being profiled in our campaigns and outreach in key overseas markets via our global network.
  • Benefit from support designed around your needs, with 121 support to help internationalise your business and reach new target customers, partners, investors, and markets.
  • Learn from your peers in the cohort and in our global network.
  • And in the first round, three showcase companies will also receive partnering passes to the BIO International Convention in San Diego in June 2022, the world’s largest biotechnology tradeshow.

Fill out the ‘Expression of Interest’ form to tell DIT a bit about your business. Early expressions of interest are encouraged, and may be evaluated on a rolling basis. Complete the form by 1st May 2022 if you would like a chance to be considered for premier conference access including a full business partnering pass for the world’s largest global biotech tradeshow, the BIO International Convention (valued at nearly £2500).

See a list of other key global events where showcase companies will be featured, and watch for updates here.

Later in the year DIT will also launch an inbound call for global innovators looking to bring their businesses and solutions to the UK. To register your early interest in our inbound innovator showcase, email lifescience@trade.gov.uk
