Helen and Paul met with PA Consulting on Monday, who are assisting UKHSA with their diagnostic accelerator programme. This programme aims to assist the development and procurement of diagnostics to assist with the UK’s 100 day mission, and to assist manufacturers in partnering with UKHSA.
BIVDA’s view is that this programme could be of significant benefit and should focus on a system change by improving market access, supporting innovation, and removing barriers to getting IVDs approved, procured, and used. We will continue to work with UKHSA and PA Consulting to represent the industry.
