BIVDA will be closed for the Christmas period from Friday 23rd December until Tuesday 3rd January.
Both Doris-Ann and Helen will be monitoring their own email addresses intermittently for any urgent issues, but the membership and enquiries email addresses won’t be monitored.
BIVDA is open as usual until 5.30 on Friday 23rd, so please contact Helen .
Doris-Ann will be out of the office from Wednesday 21st December returning Monday 9th January. Please contact Enquiries from 3rd January to Monday 9th January if your request is urgent.
Helen will be returning on Monday 16th January with Nat being your main point of contact for anything that can’t wait until her return.
The 2022 Renewals process will be started on Thursday 5th January 2022 for completion by 31st January 2022.
You will be receiving a renewal email in the New Year with a more streamlined and simplified process for you to complete including a data request for market segmentation purposes within the forms.
Any feedback on this will be welcomed to make sure it works well for our members!
Please make sure that your main contact details are correct, and if renewals need to be sent to other colleagues, then please can you let Nat know where to address them to.
We have a full and varied programme scheduled for next year. Our planned programme includes continued advocacy work on the UK regulations, the UK diagnostics strategy and UK manufacturing capability, continuing work with a significant focus on AMR and Infectious Diseases.
We will be navigating through the expected implementation of the New UK Procurement regulations, and working with the DHSC, NHS England and UKHSA on their supplier engagement programmes.
Sustainability and Equality and Diversity continue to be embedded throughout the working parties and BIVDA agenda.
Working Party Dates will shortly be on Eventbrite and the training programme available to members for next year will be issued in early 2023.
Please remember that we are here to support member companies of any size with day-to-day requirements. We are member led and agenda led, so if any member would like us to take up something either individually or sector based, please contact Helen for it to be dialled into the workstreams.
