The FTA between the UK and Australia – which was covered in the “International Trade Updates” article in Membership News – includes a chapter explicitly referencing antimicrobial resistance.
It states both the UK and Australia’s acknowledgement that AMR poses a serious risk to human and animal health and includes measures which aim to combat the threat.
