The Health and Social Care Secretary, Steve Barclay, has committed to meeting members of the Diagnostics APPG during Oral Health Questions in the House of Commons.
Maggie Throup MP, who will chair the APPG when it is established shortly, asked the Health Secretary if he would commit to meeting the group’s membership, which he agreed to.
This is the latest helpful intervention by Maggie as she seeks to use her position to raise the profile of diagnostics, and their beneficial impact on the NHS, among her Parliamentary colleagues.
We will update members regarding the Diagnostics APPG in due course.
