NICE has published its final guideline on Prostate Cancer on the NICE website. You can also find the supporting evidence, tools and resources as well as all the stakeholder comments that NICE received during consultation and the responses to these comments.
This guideline covers the diagnosis and management of prostate cancer in secondary care, including information on the best way to diagnose and identify different stages of the disease, and how to manage adverse effects of treatment. It also includes recommendations on follow-up in primary care for people diagnosed with prostate cancer.
The recommendations from this guideline have been included in the NICE Pathway on Prostate cancer. which brings together everything NICE said on Prostate cancer in an interactive flowchart.
