We are delighted to announce that we have appointed a new Regulatory Affairs Manager who will be joining the secretariat on a full time basis from October 25 2021.
Ashleigh Batchen joins us from MHRA where she is currently the Regulatory Affairs Manager, leading on market surveillance strategy and providing complex regulatory advice to stakeholders, including classification, economic operator requirements, and details on the UK regulations for both medical devices and IVDs.
Her experience includes the development of new UK regulations, working on the implementation team for EU MDR and EU IVDR and leading on new guidance publications for manufacturers and healthcare professionals in relation to legislation, including UK and EU regulations.
Ashleigh will be supporting members and providing updates, advice for regulation and will be supporting the regulatory aspects of our working parties as well as supporting the sustainability programme.
We are really excited about her joining us and becoming a part of our team and we know she will be an invaluable resource for members.
