100,000 copies of BS ISO 50005 are being sponsored by the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS) as part of their commitment to support small and medium-sized organizations to manage their energy performance and help the UK to meet Net Zero.
The standard provides organisations with a means to develop a practical, low-cost approach to energy management. Using a phased approach enables quick wins to be achieved in reducing energy usage and allows businesses to build upon these successes over time.
