DEFRA have updated their guidance for packaging EPR to note that large organisations must create an account, starting from August 2023.
A large organisation is one that:
- Has an annual turnover of £2 million or more.
- Is responsible for supplying or importing more than 50 tonnes of empty packaging or packaged goods in the UK.
