Following the update of the EU General Product Safety Regulation, which applies as product related legislation in Northern Ireland. Note that this will have a direct impact on Research use only, general health and wellbeing products and Veterinary Use products placed on the Northern Ireland market, sold to consumers i.e. not sold business to business for professional use.
However, the updated EU regulation excludes animal by products and their derivatives (e.g. products containing Bovine Serum Albumin etc.), other specific safety legislation applies to these products.
