With this email, we would like to follow up on the email below and inform you that the targeted amendment to the CLP Regulation—commonly referred to as the “stop-the-clock” measure—was published yesterday in the EU Official Journal. This amendment formally postpones the application date for several CLP requirements, providing additional time for industry to prepare for the upcoming changes.
You can access the final text at the link provided here. The amendment will enter into force on the twentieth day following its publication, which falls on 23 December 2025. As confirmed in the final version, the new deadline for complying with the relevant provisions has been extended to 1 January 2028.
