Sustainability criteria are being driven in the pathology laboratories through the NHS England maturity matrix which has to be achieved by 2025, and there are also different accreditation schemes available for clinicians to use, including LEAF, EFLM, ISO 14001 and My Green Lab.

Our expert panel will explain the different schemes, how they are being assessed and how suppliers can help them meet their goals.

He has broad experience in clinical microbiology and is the departmental lead for research, the pathology lead for clinical audit, and the associate clinical director for pathology.
