Taking place on Thursday 5th March between 4pm – 5pm, BIVDA will host a webinar with RADIANT-CERSI, the UK’s Centre of Excellence for Regulatory Science and Innovation (CERSI) in Transformative Digital Health and AI.
The webinar will outline:
- What is RADIANT-CERSI
- Their work undertaken to date
- Emerging approaches aimed at orienting, upskilling and supporting innovators in navigating regulatory requirements with greater clarity and confidence
The RADIANT-CERSI implementation phase began in February 2025. Over the past 13 months, the programme has explored the structural and practical barriers that regulations present for innovators developing Software as a Medical Device (SaMD) and AI as a Medical Device (AIaMD).
Through engagement with innovators, regulators and clinical stakeholders, RADIANT-CERSI has investigated why regulatory pathways are often perceived as complex and difficult to navigate, and has begun developing targeted solutions to support innovators more effectively.
