The Evaluating Medical Tests is a 3-day online course designed for researchers seeking to apply robust methods in diagnostic test evaluation. Learn how to evaluate test variability, test accuracy and clinical impact. Explore the role of tests in screening, monitoring and diagnosis and gain insights into study designs and patient pathways.
This course includes sessions where key content, theory and examples will be presented and application sessions where you will have the opportunity to apply this knowledge and ask questions.
The course is delivered by members of the Biostatistics, Evidence Synthesis, Test Evaluation And prediction Modelling (BESTEAM) research team at University of Birmingham.

Structure of the course
Each day of this three-day course will focus on a different aspect of test evaluation. Day one will focus on test variability, day two on test accuracy and day three on test impact.
You will receive a certificate of completion on request.
