
BIVDA are hosting our Sustainability Autumn Seminar on Tuesday 22nd October 2024 from 10:30 – 16:00. If you are interested in attending, you can register here.
The agenda is as follows:
- The art and importance of collaboration; what we mean by collaboration and understanding similarities and differences to teamworking. This session will provide frameworks for use via interactive and practical exercises.
- A discussion around Pathology Laboratory Accreditation schemes will be led by an expert panel of external speakers and will cover LEAF, EFLM, ISO14001 and My Green Lab.
- Members from a range of organisations will share their respective sustainability journeys covering their successes and challenges.
- Update on the Design for Life project, 1 year on.
- “NHS Net Zero Roadmap – Scope 3. Are members Ready?”. Led by Alexandra Hammond, NHSE, this will offer an opportunity for members to have open conversation to discuss any challenges and opportunities to progress on delivery of a Net Zero NHS.
This session will give members the opportunity to share their experiences and thoughts with key external stakeholders within the NHS across England and the devolved nations.
