We are pleased to announce that BIVDA’s first Innovation Working Party (IWP) meeting will take place on 9th July at 10:30 – 13:00.
Led by co-chairs Dr Kam Pooni, Dominique Huxham, and John Rippeth, the Innovation Working Party (IWP) aims to improve communication, share information more effectively, and build practical solutions. These efforts will help shape policy and advocacy across the innovation landscape.
The main goal of the IWP is to support BIVDA’s vision and strategy by unlocking the potential of its members’ innovative products, processes, and approaches. Through well-developed proposals, solid evidence, and persuasive arguments, the group will work to grow and strengthen the UK IVD sector.
The group also focuses on identifying and understanding the challenges and opportunities that come from various system groups, initiatives, grants, and processes. By doing so, the IWP aims to advance research, development, and the adoption of innovations — ultimately helping to improve healthcare for patients, clinicians, and the public.
