BIVDA have been contacted following conversations between Ukraine’s First Lady, Olena Zelenska, and the UK’s Secretary of State for Business and Trade, Kemi Badenoch.
The conflict in Ukraine, like all wars, impacts heavily on children and civilians as well as those that fight. Mrs Zelenska’s foundation is seeking donations of medical and laboratory equipment to assist with the reconstruction of Izium hospital and the modernisation of laboratory equipment for effective diagnostics in the Centre for Children’s Medicine in Lviv.
The war in Ukraine has had a significant impact on healthcare provisions in these areas so if there are companies able to make impactful donations, we would be keen to make the connection with the Department for Business and Trade.
