Members are invited to an industrial open day organised by the ReMed project team (www.remed.uk) for the MedTech industry at Loughborough University on Tuesday 11 November.
The event will include demonstrations of steps forward made in medical device recycling processes as part of the circular economy of medical devices, and will also focus on a proposed public-private initiative to establish a MedTech innovation centre in support of Priority Action 28 of the DHSC’s Design for Life Roadmap. The objective of this initiative is to accelerate the innovation needed for MedTech circularity to become mainstream in day-to-day NHS operations.
There will be presentations from the NHS and DHSC and structured networking to explore the value and shape of the initiative.
The event is organised based on a morning or an afternoon laboratory visit with a common networking and discussion session and lunch. Places are limited to 20 in the morning and the afternoon respectively — so reserve your place now by replying to admin@remed.uk to avoid disappointment.
