The Office for Life Sciences is providing funding for an NIHR-led trial to assess the clinical and cost effectiveness of the use of multi-cancer detection (MCD) tests in primary care to triage patients with non-specific abdominal symptoms for urgent cancer investigation.
If you are interested in applying, you are strongly encouraged to attend the workshop taking place virtually on 21 November 2025.
The workshop registration is now open and will close on 18 November 2025. To register your attendance, please email HTAfunding@nihr.ac.uk.
You will be required to confirm that you have existing relationships in place with blood based MCD manufacturers and are in a position to submit a full application within 8 weeks of the workshop and for the study start in 2026.
