Following a review with members around the content and scope of the Environmental Working Party, BIVDA are going to change its name to better reflect what this working group covers.
Being called ‘Environmental’ has been misleading and is often assumed to relate to sustainability or tenders, when this is not the case.
This working party will now be called “Chemicals and Environmental (Legislation)”
Members covering regulatory aspects, manufacturing, supply chain and waste would find this working party helpful and informative, and your experiences are vital to enable BIVDA to respond to sector challenges and advocacy requirements. Since the UK left the EU, the majority of this legislation is changing now and without input and evidence, there is a risk that changes will be imposed without your input or awareness.
You can find the Terms of Reference for the working party here.
