By April 29, 2025No Comments

NHS England have sent out personal invites for people to register the next NHS England and Leeds NIHR Biomedical Research Centre event in the Moving Forward Infection Diagnostics series: Adoption and Implementation on Tuesday 6 May 2025 at 9:30am – 4:00pm at Nexus, Leeds.

An effective adoption and implementation strategy and streamlined processes for diagnostics will help ensure key partners are able to navigate complex barriers to achieve the right test, at the right time, in the right place for patient benefit.

The objectives of this event are to:

  • emphasise the importance of the patient perspective in adoption and implementation processes for new diagnostic tests.
  • articulate best practice for adoption and implementation processes for suitable tests and devices.
  • explore the complex barriers within adoption and implementation processes and find solutions to overcome these.
  • enable debate on the topic, producing a consensus statement on recommendations for insightful actions to help drive sustainable change.

The meeting will bring together patient voices, regulators, Health Innovation Networks, NHS clinicians, academics, scientists, and industry.

To book your place please use the link in the personal invite. Alternatively, if you haven’t received one, please contact kerrie.davies@nhs.net
