Next week, BIVDA Chief Executive Helen Dent will speak alongside Minister for Public Health and Prevention, Andrew Gwynne MP, in Parliament at Curia’s event on revitalising diagnostics and UK life sciences.
Helen will also be joined by Stephen Powis, National Medical Director at NHS England, with industry figures, other NHS stakeholders and parliamentarians in attendance.
Helen will use this opportunity to reiterate the importance of early diagnosis to the modern, preventative NHS that the Government aspires to create through its health reforms. Achieving this goal will not only save the NHS money by avoiding preventable treatments, but will also enable better patient outcomes.
