Helen attended the launch of the Design for Life roadmap last week where she had the opportunity to meet with Baroness Merron.
Helen spoke to the minister, who is responsible for patient safety, mental health and women’s health, about BIVDA’s priorities as outlined in our three-year strategy. Baroness Merron saw significant alignment between our objectives and that of the Government, notably in their three pillars of health reform: an emphasis on hospital to community, analogue to digital, and treatment to prevention.
Baroness Merron agreed to attend BIVDA’s Parliamentary Reception and will deliver the closing remarks at our event on 30 October.
