Last week, we were delighted to host the inaugural Women in DiagnostiXX event at our London offices.
Organised by Lucy Lehane of Lehane Consulting, the day featured talks and panel discussion on equality, empowerment and career development from influential women in the diagnostics sector.
Women from various parts of the sector came together to explore key topics, such as inspiring young women to pursue STEM subjects through participation in the STEM ambassador program, transitioning from academia to industry, and leveraging coaching to enhance both career growth and personal development.
The group also listened to motivational accounts of influential women throughout history, as well as personal experiences shared by members of the delegation.
As a female-led organisation, supporting more women into the diagnostics workforce and fostering partnerships between women in the sector is something that BIVDA is passionate about. We have received amazing feedback from attendees. Our thanks go to Lucy Lehane for her hard work in creating such an incredible event.
