CERSI PGx has five work packages, these cover WP1 Guidelines, WP2 Industry Regulation, WP3 Education, WP4 Health Economics and WP5 Patients / Public involvement. All five teams have been working hard on their specific projects and we (Industry) have been able to contribute via WP2 as a valuable partner in the delivery of resources.

For context, CERSI-PGx is the Centre of Excellence in Regulatory Science and Innovation in Pharmacogenomics, led by the University of Liverpool and funded by Innovate UK.

WP3 – the Education Team – are planning to launch the education modules in December and would like to invite all industry partners with an interest in PGx, to attend to the pre-launch presentation on 28th November 11.00 – 12.00pm.

If you would like to join the call, please complete the registration form attached via the link here: Introducing CERSI-PGx Training and Education Modules 1-6 – Fill in form

Members have also been invited by Prof Sir Munir Pirmohamed, CERSI PGx Lead, to their 2 day in-person workshop to be held in London 20th – 21st January 2026. The workshop will highlight the work of the CERSI-PGx.

The CERSI-PGx has been developing its work programme, interacting with regulators, industry and other stakeholders. The workshop will present their work undertaken to date, including developing guidelines for the use of pharmacogenomics in practice, developing an education and training platform, and the development of an industry portal.
