
The speaking lineup for the CAMS State of the Nation on Sensors and Photonics, taking place in Nexus, Leeds on June 4, 2025, has been confirmed. They include:
- Pedro Estrela, Professor, Department of Electronic & Electrical Engineering and Centre Director, Centre for Bioengineering & Biomedical Technologies (CBio)
- Richard Luxton, Professor of Bio-sensing Technology, University of the West of England
- Damion Corrigan, Professor in Measurement Science for Health and the lead of Centre for Advanced Measurement and Health Translation, University of Strathclyde
- Susan Pang, Science Leader in Innovation, National Measurement Laboratory
The meeting, featuring morning presentations and afternoon workshops, will focus on the rapidly evolving field of Point-of-Use (POU) sensors, particularly in medical diagnostics, environmental monitoring, and industrial applications.
