BIVDA are pleased to announce that we will be holding a diagnostics roundtable titled ‘State of the Nation’ in Parliament on October 30, sponsored by Lord Darzi.
Lord Darzi is a world-renowned academic surgeon and holds the Paul Hamlyn Chair of Surgery at Imperial College London and chairs the Fleming Centre Initiative; a multi-pronged initiative aimed at tackling antimicrobial resistance. He was also a Health Minister during the premiership of Gordon Brown.
The peer will be among the speakers at the event in the Churchill Room, and will also feature the Director of the Office for Life Sciences, Roz Campion.
