What is Envoke?

Envoke creates 3D, interactive, virtual simulators of complex instruments for the clinical diagnostics and medical industries.

It centralizes all product knowledge for manufacturers, empowering sales, training, and service teams to accelerate proficiency and maximize instrument uptime.

Envoke replicates the device’s entire ecosystem – including its hardware, software, and scientific output. Users can explore every physical detail and function of the device, walk through complex processes with interactive software simulations, and dynamically present protocols and visualize results, enhancing scientific communication.

 

The Critical Industry Challenge and the Envoke Solution

Envoke was created to address a massive financial vulnerability in the industry: the logistics and cost of physical demonstration.

The problem was quantifiable: shipment costs for complex devices can run into thousands of pounds for a single demo, not including staff time, insurance, and the risk of damage.

Envoke offered a solution to this significant drain on resources; a virtual version of the product to save manufacturers huge sums and reduce their carbon footprint.

However, as the platform integrated deeper into the industry and the company engaged with leading manufacturers, the scope of the problem expanded far beyond sales logistics.

The real financial drain was rooted in the fragmented approach to knowledge itself:

  • Training: Traditional training methods are insufficient. Train the trainer doesn’t provide the consistent and repeatable knowledge transfer. Research shows that immersive learning can be 52% less expensive than traditional classroom training, while improving retention by 70% (Deloitte).
  • Service: The high cost of Field Service Engineer (FSE) visits is unsustainable. Without a central knowledge hub, simple issues turn into expensive, time-consuming service call-outs.
