Health Innovation Kent, Surrey, Sussex has published the Commissioner Guide to Health Equity to support health and social care commissioners in addressing health inequalities of access. The guide refers to BIVDA member Digostics as a case study in what should be considered by commissioners in their decision-making.
Digostics’ robust data agreements, the test’s accessibility in a range of settings, and alignment with the NHS’ Net Zero proposals were, among others, invoked by the guide. Members may wish to refer to the guide to learn from Digostics’ experience.
Digostics’ GTT@home test allows for the convenient home-testing for all forms of diabetes. It is used routinely in two NHS trusts to screen pregnant women for gestational diabetes.
