As a result of recent issues, BIVDA are prohibiting AI note-takers in Working Party meetings going forward. AI note-takers will therefore be removed from meetings by the BIVDA secretariat if they join.
Non-BIVDA sanctioned AI note-takers pose a risk to the privacy and safety of closed meetings and, once installed, can prove difficult to control.
We are exploring the possibility of utilising an AI note-taker in BIVDA meetings to improve secretariat productivity, however we must first conduct a robust appraisal of specific services to ensure protection of members’ data.
