Many of you will be aware of the work undertaken by BIVDA and Members over the last 6 months to make the case to DHSC for improving the approach to the procurement of Pathology Managed Services in the NHS. This has now culminated in a call for evidence launched by DHSC which is aimed at identifying existing examples of good practice that could be scaled up to improve the way the NHS contracts in this market.
BIVDA will respond to the Call for Evidence on behalf of the industry by the deadline of 5th September but it is critical that members also use this unique opportunity to provide direct feedback.
BIVDA has arranged two calls at 10am on 16th July and 13th August to support members in the completion of the call for evidence. The Market Access and Procurement Working Party Members have been invited to these calls but it is open to any Members – please contact Beth.Loudon@bivda.org.uk or any member of the BIVDA team if you would like to attend either of these calls and we will ensure you are added to the invite.
