Please be advised that the Welsh Government are running a consultation on the revision of the Separate Collection of Waste Materials for Recycling: Code of Practice for Wales. This is focused on non-domestic waste collections. Note that the exemption for hospitals to collect separate waste streams is expiring in 2026.
The Consultation closes 22 Oct 2025. If you have any concerns, please let me know at regulatory@bivda.org.uk. Unless a quorum of concerns are raised I do not intend to respond to the consultation.
