Information on evaluation activity in 2025 (Article 54 reporting)
HSE has an obligation to report annually on the activity undertaken to evaluate registration dossiers and substances.
This is described in Article 54 of UK REACH.
The Article 54 report for 2025 can be found on HSE’s website.
The report directs registrants to the consolidated Recommendations to registrants which aim to improve the quality and clarity of registrations, and to ensure testing in vertebrates is minimised.
This year, the report also highlights additional areas of improvement for registration dossiers that were identified through compliance checking.
