UK REACH – Consultation on extending submission deadlines for transitional registrations
A summary of consultation responses and the government response is now available to view.
In July last year, Defra consulted on extending the submission deadlines for transitional registrations to provide sufficient time to develop an alternative transitional registration model (ATRm), and to ensure that industry has adequate time to understand and comply with any revised requirements.
The consultation sought views on:
- options to extend the existing transitional registration deadlines
- corresponding amendments to the deadlines for the Agency for UK REACH (HSE) to complete compliance checks on at least 20% of registration dossiers
The consultation closed on 8 September 2024. The Government has now published a summary of responses alongside the government response on GOV.UK
