The Classification, Labelling and Packaging of Substances and Mixtures (Amendment and Consequential Provision) Regulations 2023

The Classification, Labelling and Packaging of Substances and Mixtures (Amendment and Consequential Provision) Regulations 2023 was laid before the Parliament on 08 December. These Regulations come into force immediately before the end of 2023 and extend to the Great Britain. This amends Regulations (EC) No 1272/2008 and relate to the requirement to put a UFI on labelling (Unique Formular Identification). It also indicates that HSE can use voluntary information provided by importers and downstream users in assessing hazards for GB MCL.
