Dear members, please be advised that following a second call, European Reference Laboratories (EURL) have been designated for markers of parasite infection and for detection of blood grouping markers.
The European Reference Laboratories play a key role in initial and periodic review of Class D assay performance, as well as ongoing batch release of Class D devices under the EU IVDR. There will be a period of transition as the notified bodies have been covering the responsibilities for these functions pending the designation of the EURLs for these analytes.
