On 18 September, the European Parliament Environmental Committee adopted its position on the proposed revision of CLP legislation. Members of Parliament (MEPs) support new rules that will make labels on chemicals easier to read and want information about chemical classification and labeling to be public. MEPs also insist that testing on animals should be phased out as soon as possible.
