European authorities will work together to improve risk management of chemicals
Our two-day workshop, that took place on 6-7 March 2024, discussed how to make authorities’ risk management of substances, or substance groups, more impactful while increasing transparency and predictability.
The focus was on reviewing the implementation of our Integrated Regulatory Strategy and aligning it with ECHA’s new strategy and tasks.
REACH
Member States plan to evaluate 28 substances in 2024-2026
Based on the Member State Committee’s opinion, we adopted and published the Community rolling action plan (CoRAP) for 2024-2026 on 19 March 2024.
Ten substances are planned to be evaluated in 2024, while 18 are listed for 2025 and 2026.
Registrants who need to update their dossiers with new relevant information such as hazard, tonnages, use and exposure, can follow this guide for advice.
New substance evaluation conclusion published for CoRAP substance
Sepisol Fast Blue 85219 (EC 700-579-6) was added to the Community rolling action plan (CoRAP) list in 2017 and evaluated by the Netherlands.
Assessment of regulatory needs reports published
Reports for the following substance groups are now available on our website:
- Esters from linear and branched carboxylic acids and short chain diols
- Amino alkoxysilanes and amino siloxanes
- Esters from linear carboxylic acid and Pentaerythritol
- Esters from linear and branched carboxylic acid and trimethylolpropane
