Trade in products containing benzene increased EU imports of hazardous chemicals
The reported volume of hazardous chemicals imported to and exported from the European Union under the Prior Informed Consent (PIC) Regulation continued to increase in 2022.

Reports for the following substance groups are now available on our website:
- Aliphatic esters from branched carboxylic acids

Guidance
Updated guidance for substance identification
We have updated our guidance for identification and naming of substances under REACH and CLP to help companies meet their legal obligations. The key changes relate to the updated information requirements of REACH annexes. Companies are recommended to pay attention to correct and unambiguous substance identification as it is essential for ensuring efficient regulation.
