ECHA launched a call for evidence on the upcoming REACH restriction of two hexavalent chromium substances (Cr VI):
- Chromium trioxide
- Chromic and Dichromic acids
Although, the call for evidence mostly concerns Worker Exposure limits, we kindly ask members to indicate by 11 January 2024 if the substances in questions are of relevance and if there is an interest to contribute to the call for evidence. Members can provide feedback at regulatory@bivda.org.uk. ECHA will use the submitted information for the Annex XV restriction dossier, which is scheduled to be finalised and published on 4 October 2024.
