| Defra’s Resources and Waste stakeholder engagement forums for industry, local authorities and the waste sector were last held in May 2024. Since the last forums, there is a new government with a clear direction on environmental issues that focus on creating a circular economy.
We would like to invite all stakeholders to a special joint forum on the circular economy and an update on our reforms. This will be an hour-long, virtual broadcast on Tuesday 13 August 2024 at 2pm. There will be time for a Q&A session. For this forum only, we require that any questions for our panel are pre-submitted in advance of the forum, via this link. Your questions will then be addressed at the forum. This invitation is extended to all members of the Business Readiness Forum, Local Authority Forum and Waste Management Forum.
