The Department for Environment, Food, and Rural Affairs (Defra) is seeking additional members to join their Resources and Waste research panel aimed at testing and improving their new digital services. Panel members will have the opportunity to preview and provide feedback on their experiences with new services, such as Extended Producer Responsibility and Waste Tracking services, through various methods, including online or in-person discussions, prototype testing, and surveys.
Defra is interested in speaking with individuals who currently work or will soon work with packaging and waste. This includes, but it not limited to, those involved in production, exporting, reprocessing, importing, distributing, receiving and other related activities.
Defra is particularly interested in engaging with individuals from organisations that will fall into the small organisation category under pEPR (organisations who must report data but do not have to pay disposal cost fees).
We also encourage you to invite other professionals within your organisation to sign up and participate in the research sessions.
To join the research panel, please sign up here. If you have any questions, please reach out to Defra’s panel manager, Sophie at sophie.werkshagen@defra.gov.uk.
