BIVDA are receiving information that a number of NHS Trusts are now requiring a yes/no approach to whether a supplier is using Windows 10. Presumably linked to recent cyber incidents affecting the NHS, this may pose issues for suppliers whose tests have been validated on a platform using Windows 10.

BIVDA are building evidence to advocate for a standards-based system. However, we recommend members begin to consider how to transition from Windows 10 to Windows 11 as this is very clearly the direction of travel for the NHS.
