A reminder that the Men’s Health Strategy consultation ends at

The government acknowledges that men face unique challenges throughout their lives, being disproportionately affected by health conditions, including cancer, cardiovascular disease and type 2 diabetes. While life expectancy data shows that men in England live on average four years less than women and suicide continues to plague the male population, being the leading cause of death of men under 50.

They would therefore like stakeholders’ views on the development of a dedicated Men’s Health Strategy.

Rather than a formal consultation on specific proposals, this call for evidence is a request for ideas and evidence that the government can build upon and discuss further with key interests.
