NICE have announced that they are making changes to their Healthtech programme manual, which is now open for consultation.
The organisation states that following user feedback, they have amended the manual to streamline their approach and prioritise what the NHS needs most.
This includes removing the Diagnostic Assessment Programme and Medical Technologies Evaluation Programme from the manual.
BIVDA are meeting with NICE next week to understand the impact this will have on diagnostics going forward and help inform our consultation response.
